Entering the 2015-16 school year, Braham Area High School is moving to a complete 1:1 Chromebook implementation.  All students in grades 6-12 will be eligible to receive a Chromebook from the school district.

In order to receive one of the Chromebooks, parents and students will have to decide on an insurance option or even purchase their own Dell Chromebook at the schools cost of $230 (tax-free if the student is enrolled) click the following link:

You'll learn about the purchase, insurance and payment options all online.

The handout of the Chromebooks will take place on:

Tuesday, September 1st - 8am-4pm,
Wednesday, September 2nd - 3pm-7pm
       (prior to the Open House)
Thursday, September 3rd - 8am-4pm

Presentations are planned every 30 minutes to explain the process and answer any questions on the Chromebook or insurance options.  Also at this time if you have not filled out the online insurance form, computer access will be available to do so.  If you have filled out and purchased the insurance policy, the process will be expedited for you.

Along with the Chromebook/insurance options we would like to give parents and students a quick PStutorial on PowerSchool - our online grading program, to make sure you have access to view students progress and grades.

At the conclusion of the presentation, if you purchase a Chromebook or an insurance policy, students will be able to take their Chromebooks home with them and have them ready for the first day of school.

If you are not able to attend any of the above sessions the students will be able to pick up their Chromebook’s the first day of school.

If you choose not to purchase insurance, the Chromebook will always stay at school and never be brought home.
