October is National Bullying Awareness Month. Sometimes, all a student needs to hear is something uplifting and positive to get through a rough day. We asked students on Friday, October 10th between 8:00-2:30, to head out to the front of either building, grab a piece of chalk and cover the sidewalk with quotations and images of love, peace, hope, and acceptance with the intention of bringing smiles to kids' faces or challenging them to pay an act of kindness forward. Messages such as, "YOU are special", "YOU make a difference", or "Kindness matters". Whatever is in your heart and teaches the lesson: BE KIND.
