Course Description:

Computers 7 is a trimester long course in which you will build on your foundations of computer literacy. You will be expected to consistently use good keyboarding technique as a means to increase accuracy and speed as well as reduce the risk of computer-related injury. Through daily activities and major projects, we will explore the many possibilities that computers have to offer.

Essential Questions:

1. What impact does computer technology have on society?

2. What is the future of information technology?

3. What does it mean to be computer literate?

4. How would your life be different without computer/electronic technology?

5. How do computer networks impact communication within our local and global communities?

6. What are the possibilities and limitations that face computer technology?
